Taylor has a Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, a Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Management, and an Associate Degree in Medical Records Management. She is also completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Education. Her professional career has spanned decades in the corporate healthcare industry in key leadership roles overseeing provider relations, claims operations, process design, and cross-functional team development. Both her educational and corporate backgrounds support her active role in the financial wellness space and strengthen her ability to design scalable financial education solutions integrating practical knowledge with real-world application.
Gwendolyn’s passion for empowering youth and families with financial wellness are realized through her entrepreneurial endeavor, Flip That House The Board Game University. Through this platform she leads after-school programs, design competitions, educator trainings, and community workshops that simplify financial concepts yet emphasize their importance. Schools, nonprofit organizations, churches, national conferences, banks, universities, and youth-serving institutions across the country have taken advantage of these tools. Taylor is committed to meeting learners where they are and guiding them toward long-term financial confidence and capability.
Gwendolyn Taylor joins the MFEC – a state-focused arm of the nationwide National Financial Educators Council (NFEC) – with a goal to give youth and underserved communities access to resources that build wealth, self-efficacy, and hope. She plans to elevate the national conversation around financial wellness and ensure that programs and partnerships remain culturally relevant, accessible, and practical.

Her next initiative, Flip That House University (FTHU) Community Homeownership & Wealth Building Day, will take place on Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Believers Temple Word Fellowship Church Campus, in collaboration with the Believers Temple Word Fellowship Urban Initiative. The free, community-centered event will bring together financial institutions, housing advocates, real estate professionals, and financial coaches to deliver practical education and real-time resources for individuals and families preparing for homeownership and long-term wealth building.
